Scottish newcomer Alex Amor has dropped her new single, ‘dare you’, the first single from her upcoming project, Summer Is Sweet With You. Her strand of alt-pop is layered with pristine melodies and heavenly textures with the production talents of Simon Byrt and Karma Kid helping the whole package sound years ahead of its time. “I wanted the track to feel like summer heat: a warm and steady haze that lifts you up on brighter days,” she explains. “It's about opening yourself up to all potentials and possibilities.” Look out for Summer Is Sweet With You, which coincides with her upcoming first live shows. -Dan Peeke
